Noticing improvement in Blakely's play at point guard the last 3 games. Not sure if it's her or if it's the competition, but her assist rate has improved dramatically. 19 assists in last 3 games. 10 assists against FIU, & 7 during the Kennesaw game are fantastic numbers. Her shooting % is still low, but has been better going to the bucket lately.

I know it won't and literally can't happen but I wish there was a game where Blakely did not take a shot and strictly focused on dishing it out. She may go off for 30 one game soon but when she can't hit a lay-up I'll take my chances with one of the others putting a long range shot up..

Much better after halftime. Agree about Blakely - she's playing much more in control as the year has gone on, which is exactly what you'd want. Early in the year she was playing "nervous" - not so much now. Big lead now.

If we had shot better, we'd have won by 50. Final score 69-35, absolutely dominant defensive performance yet again! We've scored exactly 69 points in 3 of our 4 CUSA games so far this year.

Interesting to hear Eli Gold perspective on the game. The only positive they could come up with is that they use their bench more than we do. He also pointed out that we were ahead by 29 with no bench points. It appears there is not a lot of love between our coach and theirs. May go all the way back to the sunbelt days…..

He's never beaten Insell. I did find it interesting to hear that their coach voted for Nas as player of the year last year (and so we can figure he will be doing that again this year too).

Glad to see Eli has recovered from his cancer scare. Was an all time great announcer for Alabama.

Have to admit sometimes we're hard to watch offensively, especially with the missed bunnies in first half. But when we get it going we're a lot of fun to watch. Excellent 3rd quarter from the field.
Announcers talked about how CRI practiced the team for 90 minutes either last night or early this morning then came back & ran a hard 2 hour practice just before the game started. They literally couldn't believe it. Then come to think of it neither can I. The ladies didn't look tired at all. Our conditioning has to be phenomenal.

Current Net Ranking is 57. A big 34 point road victory should help out our upcoming ranking a few places.
