It's ashame we were never able to see Smith in the lineup. He could've been a real weapon at 6-7.
This is disappointing news on many fronts.
JeVontey isn't that much of a loss considering he never really sniffed the field, but the other guys were all talented. Sean Smith had a world of potential as did Herrod.
Gotta wonder if the injuries they endured took too much of a toll on them..

Herrod hurts but that is it. Smith was done when Franklin showed up. He is just now realizing it. We spent years and 4 or 5 schollies on the TE position only to de-legitimize the position when Franklin got here. The imbalance showed up when we didn't have enough wide receivers. Yes it should mean we have 4 more schollies. Crossing fingers for a couple of JUCO DT's. If we don't get them then we will suck against the run next year. Yes....even worse than this year.
