Outdoor Track and Field: MT hosting 2021 CUSA Championship starting Thursday (May 13-16)

Sorry but, Mardy Scales ain’t walkin’ through that door guys.

Really sad that we have a internationally known (figurehead) T & F head coach (and one of the handful of international jump experts) and we can't recruit local T & F prospects. Emblematic of how the MT athletic program (and the school itself) is perceived by most in the area.

Been a long time since Scales (Centennial High - Franklin) won the NC in his event; even longer since the MT track team finished 6th (IIRC) in the NCAA (best D-1 finish by any MT program).

The track/cross country teams are still doing great. Our cross country team was nationally ranked for the first time ever and we’ve had a couple individuals quality for nationals. We’re doing pretty well in the track department
