New Beatwriter

Saw that. Thought he did a decent job while he was covering MT sports. He had a tough guy to follow though in Sparks.

I always enjoyed Will's work. I actually liked he had no prior connection to MT which gave his coverage more credibility.

But with the way journalism is going, he probably made the best decision for his future.
 
I enjoyed Will's work, and I too liked the fact that he didn't have ties to MT. He provided a fresh perspective and not the typical homerism that you can see from a beat writer (not that Adam did that, either). I'm sad to see him go, but I can totally understand his decision. Reporters, beat writers and such are VASTLY underpaid in today's world. That's really the main reason I never pursued a full time career in journalism after graduating.
