FOOTBALL MT to begin alcohol sales at Floyd Stadium during football game against UT Martin

If any fans of a program in College Football needs this its us! OK, maybe the Kansas Jayhawk Football fans need it just a little bit more.
I went to Lawrence KS for a Memphis game a couple of years ago and those folks have a good time even when the football is horrible. They paraded their basketball team (with Bill Self) around the field at halftime.

Anyone else notice what’s missing? Price of a beer will prolly be 3x more than a game ticket you pick up off the ground or pay a street entrepreneur for.

Who will go just to pay $8-$10 for a beer?

uhh...from the dnj article:

...Wine will not be sold on Saturday, per Massaro, adding he is hoping to have wine as an option by the Florida Atlantic game on Sept. 29.

Beer will be sold in a can and a plastic cup will be given so it can be poured in to. The selections include Budweiser, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, two options from local brewery Steel Barrel — Americana and Frost — and spiked seltzer.

Budweiser and Bud Light will be $6 and all other selections will be $7.....

Are you guys complaining about the cost? The idea behind concessions is to make a profit. This program needs all it can get!

Budweiser and Bud Light will be $6 and all other selections will be $7. The article says that. A coke in a cup is 5-6 bucks. It's not that bad. It's an option. That's it.

There's a lot stronger beverages being consumed in the boxes (and the stands) and have been for ages.
