MT seeding for baseball tourney set

Unbelieveably bad collapse this weekend. All we had to do is win 1 game and we are the #2 seed, we are on the side of the bracket with FAU, we open with a much weaker team, and we avoid Rice/USM until the championship game.
I guess the positive is we still avoid a red-hot USM on their own field, but I just can't see how we get out of our side of the bracket now. Hope they prove me wrong.
