MT greek trouble

This comes up every few months. It's a symptom of our litigious society. There's simply too much liability.

That said, I really think that the franternity system has lost it's usefulness.

Back in the day, it's purpose was fellowship, networking, support structure, etc.

Now, with social media and seeing how much more connected everyone is, and with clubs and special interest groups for just about every possible interest you could think of - what's the point?

The fraternity system itself has also been it's own worst enemy - in the days of camera phones and increased scrutiny from campus powers-that-be, they seem to be doing even more stupid, immature, and outlandish stuff (Drink a few beers? That's so 2004. Let's Buttchug!) than in the past.
