I'm not a typical doom and gloom type person and I know there are so many excuses to be made for this year with a new staff and a lot of turnover, but I just don't think this coaching staff is it. I'll keep watching and hope I'm wrong, but I can't remember seeing so many presnap penalties and just overall lack of improvement throughout the year. That is 100% on the coaches.

Nick could be really good when someone teaches him to stop eyeing his receivers down. Any film shows he knows who he’s likely going to pre snap. There is no progression through his options. With that said, option 2 isn’t ready so why pull him in the last game early in 4th quarter down 11? I can’t figure this staff out! I’m about done!

Just another forgettable season. There's not much to take from this season to lend hope for next year.

So much work to do in the off-season. I really don't even know where you go from here. This program needs so much, and I guarantee the powers that be are not bold enough to get it done.

You have to get a defensive coordinator. Brian Stewart does not know what he is doing. End of story. There is literally no more discussion. He cannot be allowed to continue in his current position.

You have to spend money on players, both for retainment purposes and bringing in new talent. If we are not going to do this, there is no point pretending to play FBS football anymore. Putting $ in players pockets is how the game is played now. Even our peers are doing this. We have to find a way.

Discipline must be instilled. Jesus christ, I have never seen so many pre-snap penalties in the last game of a season. Absolutely inexcusable. These are not efforts penalties that can sometimes be rationalized. These are F'ing dumb ass, lazy, undisciplined penalties that just cripple an already bad team/program like ours.

What's the culture of this team ? We have no identity in all 3 phases of the game. What's the plan ?

We just got smoked by a perennial Bottom 10 FBS program. We have serious problems guys. If we do not address these things we will be asking the same questions and pointing the same fingers next year (Almost a certainty that's the route this goes....). This season cannot just be written off because it is Mason's first year.

College athletics are totally different now with rosters turning over every year. Year 1 and honey moon excuses don't exist anymore. This program has serious problems that need to be acknowledged and fixed ASAP.

It’s the bones on the staff that need improved! This staff quit on this team. Wasted drive pulling the QB to run ball & just give it back to FIU to go score only to put him back next drive & we go score. Gotta get staff out of the way first before you ridicule & criticize players. Reeder hasn’t been seen once all season. Guy hides in box and does zero interviews. Wouldn’t know him if he passed right by my face. Don’t be surprised when O Kelly & Vattiato among others are GONE. Best thing Vattiato could do is move on from this dumpster fire & not waste his talents in his last year like Willis did. They don’t deserve them. Mason needs a DC & a OC and a plethora of players or this will look worse next year!

Inept administration, no support from the community, fan apathy, and basically no talent to build from. I’m sure he faced some of the same obstacles at Candy and being just down the road had to know some of the sh#t being pulled by McPhee and Smith. Did he think he could just plow thru it or did he need a job and didn’t want to leave Nashville?
20 years ago this leadership sold us on being the next Louisville or Boise St. Instead, because of them, we are relegated to barely beating TN Tech, titty bumping with the Kennesaw States of the world, and wishing we were Liberty. I have given up and
