With our Mens' Team having a#1 Seed, why are we not hosting...

I would assume it comes down to our facility not being up to a certain standard.

Have been wondering the same thing. We are on our way to Raleigh now. I can tell you last weekend there was still a fair degree of optimism that they could sneak in to the top 16 seeds and host.
Besides not getting to host, as a 16 seed, you would have thought the 2 seed would have been ranked 28-32. Instead, NC State is ranked 21st. So, assuming we get by round 1, a pretty tough matchup on the 2 seeds home court.

I wouldn’t discount it, but the matches are free. On the NC St website, they mention that they meet all NCAA criteria. Not sure what all that means?
I know we have the technology on the ATC indoor courts to stream matches live.
Since I don’t live in the ‘Boro not sure if the outdoor courts have that or not.

The outdoor courts are certainly rough. The new facility will correct that.
