Larry Joe is a fine fella and richly deserves the honor. I used to go to church with him and played on the church-league softball team with him. He's a class act, no doubt.
I was just a little surprised when Inman's induction was announced. My memory is getting fuzzy but didn't Inman leave MT with a black (or at least dark grey) cloud over his head? I'm not trying to start any rumors so I'll make no more comment other than to say if the rumors I remember hearing (could have been just one person's assumption - I don't remember any official reason given for him leaving - way back before message boards and other social media when MT info was hard to come by for those us outside of Rutherford Co.) were incorrect I've never seen anything to dispel them.
Regardless, his success since leaving MT shows that if there was an issue at MT he learned from his mistake and did what was necessary to move on without further problems and regain his reputation.
