As an older MT alum, I can attest to the fact that we are snakebit with FCS opponents who have come into Floyd Stadium in the past. I wish we did not play them and do not think that we benefit from any of these games for the following reasons: First, It does nothing for attendance. Second, you get no media, nor any marketing push from the scheduling of any FCS opponent other than TSU. Third, although, a win against an FCS counts in your overall win total for Bowl purposes; a loss would kill us (i.e. McNeese State, SEMO). In other words, the risks clearly outweigh the rewards!
