Incoming freshman most likely to not redshirt?

I would say Malik Manciel (DL) or Terrell West (ATH).

But I think West may be coming off a serious injury so that may put him behind the pack.

He tore his knee up pretty late in the season last year (November I think). He will most definitely be redshirting this year.

I'm most excited about Upton. He's coming off a bum knee as well, so I don't know if he'll be ready, but if he is, I could see him in the WR rotation. He was a terror for East Nashville Magnet before the knee.

I think the incoming guy with the biggest impact will be Bailey. Our DE's are serviceable as pass rushers, but not really standouts (think Walden, Lattimore, etc). If he can get after the QB, there's plenty of PT to be had.

I was looking over the incoming players list, and I think we can probably RS a lot of these guys. That speaks well for the depth that Stock has built - I don't know if there's any spots on the team where we look like we're going to be forced to rely on an untested freshman.

I am going to go with Brooks.

Brooks could certainly get in the mix. Keep in mind that he graduated high school early and was enrolled at MT in the spring, so he'll have a leg up on others in that regard. Wouldn't shock me at all if he got some time this year, similar to the role that Akins had last season.

Yeah, Upton was a beast last year. He reminds me a lot of Ty Clemons, but more explosive. How he comes back from the knee injury will really dictate how his career will go. That's obvious, of course.

Personally, I like Brooks to get in the mix, but if we're looking at history, Stock has never had qualms about playing O-linemen early in their careers. There's usually always one that is in the mix for playing time off the bat, so if we're making bets on who would see the field as a freshman, I'd look there. Guys like Ford and Brewer already have the size and frame coming in..
