Brandon Cyrus, G, DePaul: Since getting his release from DePaul, LSU, Nevada, San Diego, Santa Clara, Penn and a “bunch” of other schools have all reached out. A sophomore, Cyrus will have to sit out next year and then will have two years of eligibility remaining. He averaged 7.2 points per game last season.

Larry Austin Jr., G, Vanderbilt: a handful of schools, including Drake, South Alabama, St. Louis, Central Michigan, UAB, Vermont, Ball State, Towson and Troy have all reached out since he received his release from Vanderbilt. Austin averaged 2.5 points in 11 minutes per game last season. As a graduate transfer, he will be eligible to play right away.


Dachon Burke, G, Robert Morris: he has requested his release from Robert Morris, it hasn’t officially been granted yet. Burke, who averaged a team-high 17.6 points per game this season, will have two years of eligibility left.

Aaron Calixte, G, Maine: he has heard from a number of schools, including Oklahoma, Grand Canyon, St. Bonaventure, DePaul, Ohio State, Gonzaga, Georgia, Florida State and Wichita State, but emphasized that there are no leaders at this point. A graduate transfer, Calixte led the Black Bears in scoring at just under 17 points per game last season. He will be eligible immediately.

Don Coleman, G, California: he’s been contacted by St. John’s, Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Missouri State, Nevada and Iowa State. The junior guard led the Bears in scoring this past season, averaging 14.2 points per game. He has one year of eligibility remaining and will have to sit out next season.

David Caraher, F, Houston Baptist: he’s been contacted by 20-25 schools from both the major-conference and mid-major level and is still deciding on a list to consider. Caraher, who was once committed to Butler in high school, led the Huskies in scoring as a freshman playing both the small forward and power forward positions. He averaged 16.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. He also knocked down 56 3-pointers.

Ar’Mond Davis, G, Alabama: the Alabama transfer has received interest from a number of schools, including Nevada, Pepperdine, Cal-State Northridge, Seattle, Portland State, Northern Kentucky, Oakland, UC-Santa Barbara and Washington State. Originally from Tacoma, Wash., Davis averaged six points per game two seasons ago, but sat out the 2017-2018 campaign with a knee injury. He will be eligible to play right away.

Nat Dixon, G, Chattanooga: he met with the Wake Forest coaching staff on Wednesday and has also heard from Creighton, Memphis, Troy, South Alabama and UAB. Dixon, who averaged a team-leading 13.9 points per game for the Moccasins this past season, is eligible immediately as a graduate transfer.

Blake Francis, G, Wagner: he picked up an offer from Richmond on Thursday. The sophomore guard averaged a team-leading 17.3 points per game this past season. Francis will have to sit out next season and will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Te’Jon Lucas, G, Illinois: he received his release on Thursday. He's already received interest from Georgia Tech, Pacific, Bradley, San Diego and North Dakota State. He started the first 15 games this season before moving to a reserve role. He averaged 5.7 points per game for the Illini.



Cheddi Mosely, G, Boston University: he’s been contacted by Fordham, Rutgers, Charlotte, St. Bonaventure, Delaware, Robert Morris, LA Tech, Wagner, Ohio State, Troy, N.C. State, Wake Forest, Norfolk State and Arkansas-Little Rock. Mosely played only two games this past season because of a knee injury. Mosely played just 10 games as a junior because of what the school called an “internal matter.” In his last full season, he averaged 13.3 points per game as a sophomore.

Miles Reynolds, G, Pacific: he has scheduled a visit to Oklahoma for the weekend of April 8. Reynolds spent his first two years at Saint Louis, then transferred to Pacific, sitting out the 2016-17 season. He averaged 13.3 points and 2.8 assists this past year for the Tigers. As a graduate transfer, he’ll be eligible right away.

Mark Smith, G, Illinois: Smith has had in-home visits with Kansas State, Missouri, Creighton and Boston College. He’s also received interest from Butler, Georgia Tech, Nevada, Baylor and Georgia. Smith has yet to finalize his list of schools he’s considering.

Ryan Welage, F, San Jose State: he has yet to finalize a list of schools he’s considering. The 6-9 junior averaged 18.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game this past season. He leaves San Jose State as the school’s sixth all-time leading scorer.
