I love what Im reading about Cutrer, but hopefully we can get past the fact that he was once an LSU commit. That has been mentioned every time his name comes up

It seems as if everyone is so saturated by our $EC-centric media that the mindset is hard to erase - even for fans of non $EC teams in the region. I get so tired of hearing members of the M'Boro media talk about high school prospects as being $EC calber, number of $EC offers, etc. Wish they would use "high level D-1", "Power 5" level - anything but $EC.

Cutrer "was" a LSU commit at one time. He "was" a High Schooler at one time. He "was" at a JUCO at one time. He IS a Blue Raider now. That's all that counts.

Agreed! I, too, get a little tired of the media slobberfest whenever a "highly regarded" former commit comes here. Gotta remember: they're here because, for whatever reason (usually not good), they didn't hack it with their former school.
