ROTC, the equestrian team, and men's doubles tennis have all won a national championship.
The parasites are marginalizing football, baseball and basketball
Agreed. The main three bring in casual fans, but these fringe sports do matter to some kids.

It's my understanding the dance team receives no funding/scholarship from the university. I know 20 years ago they did.
If this is the case the school is more broke than thought. These girls work their tails off.
We also have a golf title and numerous titles in track and field
They sure do. I had one who danced all through high school... She put in some hours...
Stock Horse Team just won another one. 7th or 8th I think.

Crazy how these teams are doing so well with a way less money. I understand the dynamics of costs and all, but still.

I'm amazed Jimmy hasn't left yet. But at the same time, those reasons for leaving are the same for staying. That is HIS program through and through. He has built it, literally with his hands and in his image. It is a shame he had to do so much himself, but I'm also super proud of what he has done.
We need to be putting some of these National Championships on billboards along 24 & 840. Celebrate the kids that are out there crushing it with little to no support from the school.
Definitely worth the minimal money and would be a conversation starter.
I'm sure the so called leadership would like to keep quiet the success of the programs that are least touched by our athletic department.
I would put my personal money towards a billboard. I wonder how many fan on here would be willing to.
