I don't fully understand C-USA TV. There have been some games I've been able to watch for free on there while others require a subscription. Is there a way to determine if a broadcast is going to be free or paid before the game starts?

Not that I've found. If you try watching a game before the official start time you'll see a countdown regardless of whether you need a subscription or not.
