We basically win it if we win on Sunday. Mathematically, LaTech has no way to get ahead of us since we beat them even if we dropped the F?U's.

If LT and MT win out all the way to the finals and we lose. Do we get an at large?
That's the million dollar question. It will depend on the snobs in the selection committee. However, what I've heard is that it's leaning our way if we win the next 5 games. (final 3 and 2 in the tourney)

It looks like we'll be rematched with UTEP.

The Most Intriguing Bubble Profiles:

...Middle Tennessee: Like some of the other mid-majors on this list, Middle Tennessee State will have a long, long wait until Selection Sunday if they don’t find a way to win the Conference USA automatic bid. But unlike those other teams, the Blue Raiders do have some positives on their profile: They’ve beaten UNC Wilmington on a neutral. They beat Vanderbilt at home. They mollywhopped Ole Miss in Oxford. They beat Belmont in Nashville. The kicker for Kermit Davis’ program is that MTSU will have at least five losses on Selection Sunday if they need an automatic bid, only one will be a “good” loss. Tennessee State got them at home. Georgia State got them at home. They lost at UTEP, who only recently climbed their way out of the 300s in the RPI.....

Feb. 25 Recap
February 25, 2017

Florida Atlantic and Southern Miss secured the last two spots in the 12-team field of the C-USA Men’s Basketball Championship presented by MetroPCS with wins on Saturday.

Rice snapped Louisiana Tech’s seven-game win streak with an 88-81 victory that also gave the Owls their first 20-win season since 2003-04. That result also secured at least a share of the C-USA regular-season title for Middle Tennessee and the No. 1 seed.

UTEP and Old Dominion added to their own win streaks, holding on to their tie for third place in the C-USA standings as the two teams are set up to go head-to-head on Thursday night. Marshall and Charlotte, who combined for more than 200 points in their earlier meeting this season, had another big offensive night as the Herd claimed a 93-89 victory.

Conference USA men’s basketball action resumes Sunday as UAB hosts (RV) Middle Tennessee for a 1 p.m. ET/noon CT tip on CBS Sports Network.
