Noticed that last night's LR/Tulane game was on CST which is a regional sports network covering the Gulf South area including Louisiana's professional teams, colleges and high schools.
IIRC at one time such a regional network was planned for TN, based in Memphis, again IIRC. I know there was some anticipation in that this proposed network would give all colleges in TN a better chance for media coverage. If I am remembering correctly, what happened to this proposed network?
As an aside: Wouldn't it be wonderful if we had more regional sports networks rather than those controlled by the (big-time) conferences?
