What happened to Ryan McCullers? He was the offensive MVP of the fall and the highest rated recruit. I noticed he isn't on the roster anymore.

I have no idea but if you're expecting the Athletic Dept. or the few media who cover the Blue Raiders to let you know what happened to McCullers you'll be waiting until hell freezes over. Defections, even of high profile players, are never explained or even announced.

We need more media who are not afraid to ask the hard questions and we need more message board contributors who are close enough to the program to give us info. The inability to get timely information is just another reason it's so frustrating to be a Blue Raider fan.

Not quite sure all of that is true. He didn't do anything to impress me in the Blue/White World series and I have seen nothing pointing to him being the highest ranking recruit. It does appear that he is now on the baseball team at Chipola College (Juco).

I was a little disappointed we didn't get the sweep as I didn't have much respect for for Jacksonville. but I noticed that Jacksonville knocked off #12 Florida state tonight. Maybe both Jacksonville and MT are better than I thought.

I wouldn't put a whole lot into JU winning a mid week game vs FSU. This happens quite often. MT beat #2 vandy in a mid week matchup in 2013 but still finished the season 28-28 and missed the conference tournament. Team usually use the mid week games as an opportunity to get pitchers work who wouldn't typically pitch on the weekend (conference series).
