Brent Stockstill won't play baseball this spring

Glad to hear it.
AG was solid for us last year, but faded and was less effective down the stretch. Maybe due to injury or whatever.
Stockstill will now have 2 years in the system, and from what folks have said is probably a better passer than AG.
I'm expecting a pretty big QB battle this spring.

Borthick buried the lead. Stock was granted his redshirt so he will be Freshman!!!

Probably a good thing for the baseball team as well. While he had a low ERA last year his WHIP was outrageous. He seemed to let 2-3 guys on base each time he pitched but usually got bailed out by whoever relieved him. Unless you're a Jameis Winston or Russell Wilson type it's hard to juggle the two sports and excel in both.
please, lets not have a dual QB system. If he is better than AG, then let him start. I want the best player at the position. We platoon everywhere else, the better teams have ONE field general.
