Looking at the current standings it appears to me that we have to win today and Rice has to lose at FAU (played at the same time) for us to move up into the 2nd group with Marshall moving down to the 3rd group since we would hold the tiebreaker over the Herd. Any other scenario and we are relegated to the 3rd group.

Correct? If so, a huge game for both MT and Marshall. Get in the 2nd group and have better seeding for the tournament regardless of how you do in your bonus pool, lose and you have a better chance of enhancing your final record with weaker opponents in your pool. Interesting

Now that the Bonus Play schedule is set I hate that they are both on Sat. limiting student attendance, I like that the two home games if they had to be both on Sat are at 5:00, and I really hate that TV for our away games is on CUSATV which considering it's cost and quality is terrible. Guess I'll be relegated to listening to Chip.

Game at home against UTEP on March 9th has been moved to 7:30 to accommodate the three TSSAA girls' BkB championship games which have been moved to earlier in the day.
Glad the TSSAA and C-USA could work out an agreement but as an old-timer who lives outside of Rutherford Co. I hate the late start. Starting time is close to my bed time (LOL).

I like the the start time. I wish all our basketball games started at 7 or 7:30. For years that was the normal start time.

Pods are set based on the first 14 games. The best we can do is be the 11 seed in the conference tournament.

With C-USA being what it is this year, there is not much difference between 11 and 12 seed out in Frisco. Think 3-1 is imperative to make tournament and four wins are necessary to have momentum to take down a couple of teams into C-USA semifinals. 2-2 record in bonus play will get us left behind and end the season. Even Dan D'Antoni famously said "if you win your last one, you're the champ" in a recent news conference. Thus, Blue Raiders NCAA Tournament path starts now...lets shock the world and get it done, one at a time!!
