Missed this thread, wow! Young man deserves to play at the next level. I might actually watch the NBA with him in it.....Nah.
To me, Lenard is just way to inconsistent. He can take over a game for a few minutes and then have games you hardly notice him on the court. Maybe he is just bored at times.
This is now my biggest complaint about CNM. It was previously Xs and Os but that’s before we had the benefit of seeing from a program building perspective how CNM leads player development. Or lack thereof.
Five years in now, the strategy and leadership deficiencies have been overtaken by CNMs inability to develop and maximize talent. How you can you have an NBA prospect that ranks about sixth or seventh on the team in terms of who you would want to have the ball in his hands in a clutch situation?? That’s a fairly damning indictment on CNM more than it is T.

Leonard is not playing in the NBA guys. Does not have the body frame or the skill set. He will probably be able to make money playing overseas if he wants.
Sadly for Lenard I agree. Not a terribly disappointing year for him, but not the breakout year a number of analysts predicted. There's too many great athletes out there to compete with who not only can catch lob dunks like him, but have shown greater production to there overall game. Think he should either stay one more year to work on his development here, or go in the portal to work with coaches who have proven to be good developers of talent elsewhere.
