Blacksburg > memphis

Well I would feel bad for our resident Tiger but I think he is a Topper fan now so he won't be too upset.
I'm good. But I no longer expect any above average results out of my MT alma mater. Massaro continues to reward mediocrity with additional years. Hell, go ahead and give him a lottery type pension. Guy gets blown out by WKU and LaTech but we reward him for beating 6 schools that have losing records. If we are gonna play Jackson St. let's at least try to bump TSU from the Southern Heritage Classic in Memphis so we can get a decent gate to offset some of his salary. SMH

I'm not mad at Stockstill. I'm mad at Massaro and McPhee.

Dude, Fuente didn't even wait til December before he jumped on the interstate to leave Memphis. So much for Fred Smith's truck O money.

Also, we beat WKU last year so Doughty was 1-1 against us and we are 2-1 vs Marshall since we joined CUSA. We are 6 points from winning 9 games. As mediocre as we are, we are bowl eligible 7 out of the last 10 years, 5-2 vs. Memphis and 2-1 vs. Fuente.

UNT's old coach Darrell Dickey will be coaching that bowl vs. a potential Auburn matchup? Good luck with loss #4.

I think Memphis success has a lot to do with a really good QB. No slight on Fuente, he did well. But I think he is getting out right in time. There is no reason why they can't continue to be a 7 or 8 win a season team, the AAC is weak like all G5 conferences.

Not the guy they really wanted.

I think they really wanted Odum and Odum really wanted to stay with Missouri. My thoughts are simply:

Google Brady Davis from Starkville. Mullen tried to sign him late but the kid hung with his Memphis commitment. He has family ties to Memphis. He red shirted this year. Should be the heir apparent to Lynch.
