I heard Massaro say they approached vandy for a deal and they were receptive last year for this season, 50th anniversary game for Murphy Center and all that. After the improvement of the Raiders last season, they weren't as interested any more.

Nick was on Twitter Spaces with Mid Major Madness just now and revealed some of the non-conference schedule. Not bad imo.

Listened to the podcast. Glad to see the pick up of Belmont on the schedule again. The subject of this team's age came up as one of the more mature teams in the nation. That being said, would have like Nick to have picked up a lower to mid-tier power 5 school. I know it would be a road game, but would to see how our Raiders could compete against the big boys.

Unfortunately you see less and less P6 teams doing this these days. They want cupcakes and are reluctant to schedule a quality MM team that could hinder their at-large stakes.

Must agree with your last post. Lady Raiders suffered this fate when Kentucky backed out of contract to come here. WNIT results must have startled the mighty Cats
