Alumni Association Survey

Clearly won't like my opinions expressed in the: [What would like to see from MT in the next few years?] box.

I started with: Change the name to U of MT and then went on with a few other "suggestions".

Took the survey. I don't understand how the scale questions "Contributing to my community" and "Civic knowledge and engagement - local and global" have to do with my education I received at MT. I worked my a$$ off working 35 hours a school week and 50+ summer hours at Kroger so I could graduate with little to no debt. These questions aggrivate me but I see this all the time now with applications and planning university for my kids. This is probably a conversation for another area.

I took the survey.

I did the same thing.

Filled that bad boy out yesterday which was the I received it. I see I'm not the only one to mention about name. I was also glad to see that there were some built questions about leadership and vision.

I would if I knew how. Regardless, if the alumni office has your e-mail address you should have received it.

They won't like what I had to say either. Being 6 hours away I felt like I was given an opportunity to let them know how to better communicate to me. However I also brought up their connections to the 'Boro as well.

I hope they use the survey responses and comments and out them to good use.

Who do you all think they won't like what you said? Do you think they get personally offended? Ha. It's all just info for a database and then helps with their planning, they don't care that you want the name changed to UMT, nothing they can do about it.

Be honest and hopefully it will go up the pipe and the powers that be will see it.
