His socials indicate he is shooting again which is a positive sign. His injury has very low re-injury risk so it’s a matter of comfort, getting his shot volume back up to game shape. He’s been conditioning with the team all preseason so he will be in game shape in that regard.

I would think Rhodes on 12/4 would be the perfect situation for his return.

Didn't get to catch this one but nice win here. 20 turnovers is insane but somehow we ended up with more than double the points off turnovers than they did even though they only had 13.

Wonder if our transition defense was any better today ?? Seems very fortunate for us that Ohio went 20% from 3. One more 3 from them and we lose.

FT shooting for us looks like high school type of shit. 65%???

Good team thus far, plenty of room for improvement too. Still very skeptical if this team can push for a championship.

When Mustafa was asked post game by Chip if it was the players or the coaching staff making the difference in winning the game he answered correctly. The players. Bottom line we rely more on athleticism & desire than coaching. This year's victories will depend on a night to night basis of how badly does the team want the victory. Today they were down by 7 with less than 6 minutes, & they had the fight to come back. Congratulations fellows, if you can keep the same desire each game you can be more & more competitive as you gel throughout the year.

Players are always the most important. It was a well designed play that set up the open 3 to send the game into overtime. Also, good defensive call that allowed thr trap on the Ohio point guard who then dribbled off his foot.

Something different, MT Ice Hockey

I'd like to see our hockey team be a sponsored sport. We would be the only one in Tennessee and one of two in the entire southeast.

With Title 9, my understanding is MT would have to add two women's sports to do that. Add a women's bowling, women's hockey, beach volleyball, or gymnastics to name a few options. I figured bowling wouldn't be too large of a financial commitment, not sure about the others.
