49-7 Bad guys
100%. It absolutely is completely stupid. The PAC and MWC should just merge, create a performance based payout system and call it a day. If the MWC got $7m before, together with a few more schools from the AAC, plus inflation, they could hit $10m. But instead they are wasting millions. They're all crabs in the bucket - instead of working together, they're killing each other thinking that one of them will get out - and they're all headed to the pot. Too many admins afraid of losing the meal ticket on the athletics gravy train.
Yes they lost Julius Pierce which was probably the best lineman on the team. And then they lost J'Shun Bodiford who to @mtfblue comment, Bodiford is a 6'3 offensive tackleDidn't we also lose 2-3 linemen against Tech in game 1? I'm also thinking our conditioning has been subpar not only this year, but for multiple years now.
BingoThey don't have the frame and body's for FBS
When it comes to S&C facilities 100% make a difference. Recovery pools and the proper nutrition plans are extremely important as well. That should improve with the new facility but that’s something that will unfortunately take some time. You can’t change that stuff overnight because you’ll kill the guys and actually cause more injuries.Legit question as I never played football. Do the weight room facilities have anything to do with that? Blatnick seems to be the kind of guy that knows what he is doing. Do we just not have all the guys need yet? I know CDM put in the nutrition station but it still isn't the same as a full blown nutrition system (ie meals, before workout, after, proper snacks, etc). The SAPC should help in all that, right? Better weight room, recovery pools, etc.
Who do you want to see in the SBC if Texas State leaves?
FIU | 2 | 1.85% | |
Liberty | 7 | 6.48% | |
Louisiana Tech | 17 | 15.74%
Middle Tennessee | 3 | 2.78%
Sam Houston State | 2 | 1.85%
Western Kentucky | 56 | 51.85%
Missouri State | 9 | 8.33% | |
Delaware | 12 | 11.11% |
Shoot. Look at UCF. They didn't even start football until 1979 and had no on campus stadium until 2007. Their first 1-A (FBS) season was 1996. Ours, 1999. And now they are a P4.Everyone has. Wait until you see Tarleton State grow over the next 10 years. We all joked about "what the hell is a Tarleton?" when it was rumored they would join CUSA....
Just wait
They passed us by pretty quick.
At the moment, I can't think of any that moved up after we did, that haven't. I despise our leadership. They passed us by pretty quick.

I just hope no one gets skull drug before or after the game.I've made the decision to spare myself of the agony of sitting through this game. It would only be for one half anyway, but I can't stand the thought of witnessing getting skull drug by another one of our "rivals".
I'll be doing other things Saturday night. Good luck to any of you who elect to suffer through this.
