Very nice crowd for an exhibition. Imagine somewhere around 2,500. Maybe more.

Extremely complicated.

It is disappointing, no doubt. But I still am going to hold full judgement until into next year to see if improvement is made.

Looking at G5 coaches hired in 2023 and their 2nd season record, as I don't think it is fair to compare a G5 rebuild to a P4 with the NIL most have.

Out of 13, only 5 finished their first season with a winning record. Out of those 5, 2 took over teams with winning records prior year. So really only 3 out of 13 improved their first year.

I'm not defending this. I'm pissed. We have shown little improvement as the season has gone on with the same mistakes made. Changes need made 100% during the off season. Staff and players. Just showing G5s are usually a mess the first few years of a rebuild.

It's tough to rebuild a program with

Only 6 of those 16 are G5 though.

It's tough to turn around a program with little resources that quickly.

Absolute kudos to Bryan Vincent at ULM though. That might be one of the toughest jobs in college football. That team went 2-10 last year.

I watched a bit of their game on Wednesday. The guy is a total spazz.

These guys aren’t even being taught to tackle properly. They’ll continue to lose until they deal with this and excessive penalties.

I hope everyone's expectations are appropriately caveated at this point. If not, I don't know what to tell you. We thought our admin was bad on football accepting .500 well they've doubled down on that and decided they're good in the 30-40% range on winning Div 1 games in basketball.

Scott Walden was one that I thought would be a decent finalist for MT. He is on the struggle bus there at utep.

Hope I'm wrong, but I don't see Weston having a good year this season. I've rarely seen someone come back and be just as explosive as they were before a knee injury like that. His quickness and jumping ability were his best attributes and both those rely on a strong knee.

Likely a loss. It's hard to travel West and play well. We never seem to be able to.
