As mentioned earlier, MT picked up a commitment today from Water Valley (MS) DT/T Marley Cook.
Cook chose MT over JUCO offers at this point. Not a lot on him from a recruiting standpoint (the JUCO offers should say something) but from what I've gathered from my sources, the staff is very pumped to have him aboard.
Once source called him a "freaking stud."
Cook camped at Memphis over the summer and caught the eye of several MT staffers after he ran back-to-back sub 5 second 40's at 280 pounds. He picked up his offer from the Blue Raiders coaching staff soon after. They've kept up with him since.
He'll be making his way to MT soon for a OV. Hasn't had time to get out of the state yet as his team was making a run through the state playoffs (they won).
