At the end of the day the image below is what puts programs on permanent 5-game home schedules and "Buy-Game" welfare checks. Complete apathy of the fan base. This falls on the AD and the HC. They are the faces of the entire program. When your customer base tells you that it ain't working for them even when you win 8 games then you have to look deeper than firing a couple of assistant coaches. A LOT deeper.
