I did a writeup recently showing that MTSU is currently number two in CUSA for 2020.

    Here

That list is somewhat skewed because some teams have less accumulated points because they have way less commits/signees...

Personally, I think the standard is top five in CUSA each year. On top of that, you need to hit on some sleepers and really under the radar guys.

Multiple 3 Star Recruits, Top 3-4 CUSA, Make it a priority that kids from the Greater Nashville area are a priority (especially Rutherford County).

    Top 5 recruiting class

Focus on OL and DL. Oversign on the OL and DL. Not gonna be the end of the world missing a 3rd string DB or 3rd string WR. Get bigger at the LB position. As talented as he may be, we cannot have 3 Khalil Brooks' back there. Our front 7 has to be able to man up and stop the run. Weak side can play small, that's fine. But Sam and Mike have gotta be able to man up and beat their guys consistently.

Try to develop some sort of identity where we are known for controlling the line of scrimmage, putting OL/DL players into professional leagues, etc.

G5 football is simple (And arguably all football, for that matter). You control the LOS, you win the game. So let's recruit players who can do that.
