I swear I don't understand some of the teams we lose to. We play great one week and awful the next and then the team we barely lost too (score wise anyway) gets throttled. CRS has no consistency except in record. Win one, lose 2. Win 2 lose 1.

Rice and UNT are an enigma to me. One week, they get handled and then they jump up and surprise folks the next week. Rice is becoming the goliath killer. They broke down Marshall last year and caused the beginning of Doc's firing. Now they took down the defending champ. UNT nearly put more points on Liberty than UAB and MT combined.

The frontrunner in the west of course is UTSA. In the east, right now it's FAU. The way they took command of Charlotte was impressive. They have speed, talent and great playcalling.

week 9 should be fun with Charlotte taking on WKU and UTEP facing off with FAU.
