UNIVERSITY NEWS University adds sports media concentration/minor

I said we needed this 20 years ago when I was a student. There should be a whole sports department that coordinates among all the different academic programs to work with athletics.
I would feel a lot better about this if WMOT 89.5 would start broadcasting athletic contests and not just FB and BkB.
Can't you imagine several students in a control room working each game doing everything for MT that all big-time programs have on their radio networks?
Perhaps we could get some equipment which would eliminate all the "technical issues" we have on our broadcasts and finally be able to consistently hear post-game interviews from the locker room.
