(CNN)The top government official in charge of regulating student loan companies is resigning in protest, writing in a blistering letter that the Trump administration has abandoned consumers.

Seth Frotman, the student loan ombudsman at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, submitted his resignation Monday to Mick Mulvaney, the acting director.
"After 10 months under your leadership, it has become clear that consumers no longer have a strong, independent Consumer Bureau on their side," Frotman wrote.
Frotman wrote that the CFPB's leadership has "repeatedly undercut" career staff working to fight predatory lenders, including student loan companies "allowed to drive millions of Americans to financial ruin with impunity."

The bureau told CNN that it does not comment on personnel matters.

This is reasonably expected because, in the world of loans and mortgages, there is always some bullshit going on. It's been my own experience when I tried to get a mortgage. There were some problems with my student loan, and so a dozen years later, I had to feel those problems on my mortgage contract. Luckily I got it done but had to refinance later on. It was the only appropriate option for that situation, honestly. At some point, I feel like I wouldn't have made it if I hadn't researched this business in more detail, finding more helpful factors at https://goodlifehomeloans.com/reverse-mortgages/process/.

I'm glad worthy people exist who can admit their mistakes. It's not very sweet when you're struggling and sweating every day, combining learning with work to cope with monthly interests. Fortunately, I was doing my bachelor's program in Estonia, and I bumped into a friendly and worthy loan company https://www.laenukalkulaator.com/ that offered me a student loan under friendly auspicious conditions. You have to be very prudent when taking this step because there are lots of ruined lives "driven to financial ruin and impunity."
