Score?

24-14 US. First score is a Cody Clark field goal from 30 yards out after Kevin Byard returns a pick into Vandy territory

I've had a bad feeling heading into the Bama and Illinois game. I have the same bad feeling this week. MT loses this one, dropping another egg in front off a good crowd.

Vandy 24
MT 17

MT 31
Vandy 21

I don't think they can stop our passing game, and they certainly can't win a shootout.

MT 31
Vandy 14

McCrary vs. Cutrer/Byard .....adv MT

It feels odd to be confident about MT backs.

We have to play a mistake free game on offense and special teams, and so far we haven't in the big games.

I seriously doubt we will put more than 17 on the board against their defense unless we go into overtime. Georgia put 31 on them, and I think their offense is a lot better than our's. We will really need the defense to create turnovers and shut down their offense.

I'm with RaiderDoug. I can't see Vandy scoring 20 and I can't see them holding us to 20. Therefore 22 to 18. On the other hand if we cannot run the ball better than last Saturday.....it could be a very unsettling game. We must get our biguns healthy. Status on Johnson and Johnson anyone?

MT 35, VU 17
Attendance 30500

(Have heard good things about uptick in ticket sales. Sell out becoming more & more likely)

FYI, Georgia only put 17 on us. They returned an 80 yard pick 6 with about 2 minutes left in the game and their first score was a 77 yard punt return for a touchdown. Our defense gave up two huge plays on the ground to them and the rest of the time were pretty good.

I haven't watched MTSU, so I can't comment on your offense, but I really do like Mason's defense. The boys are playing fast and we have some good athletes on that side of the ball.

All of that to say, nothing would surprise me. If you find something that works, Stock is a good enough coach to make us pay.

The game, offensively, could go one of two ways. We stick to what works - passing with smart run plays - and we score a lot. We try to get fancy (a strong possibility) and we fart out and stall.

If Attendance is under 27K, MT wins. 27K or over, Vandy wins. Its that easy.
