How is Memphis above App St. with a new unproven coach? Also, App st. is a Tier 1 program. Without question. Cincinatti at Tier 1? LOL. They just started winning again last season. App St. has dominated for years.

G5 is really a battle of who could care less in terms of P5 ball.

G5 is really a battle of who could care less in terms of P5 ball.

In the past 13 years, UC has 7 10-win seasons, 2 9-win years & finished ranked 6 times including a Top 10. That is with 4 different coaches. That’s actually as strong a resume as any G5 besides Boise in that time. UC and UCF have similar success, UCF just finished their undefeated season in the bowl. However, UCF has had worse down years in the time.

App’s only issue is longevity. They have only been FBS since 2014 and they are in the Sun Belt, which doesn’t get the respect the AAC. App should be higher IMO.

Based on longevity, the Tier 1 is pretty accurate based on success.

Guy makes a million and you And I have as many conference championships as he does.

I understand the frustration, but a guy over .500 at a school like MTSU for 14 years is better than the 105th best coach in the country.

Any math geniuses know how to measure a coach's return on investment? Win-Loss record would just be one variable, but there would also be ticket sales, revenue generated..etc.
