Well, we knew this was coming.

It only makes sense. Why pay an uneducated person with limited skills $15.00 per hour when you can spend a few grand on a couple machines to do the exact same job?

The Left, as usual, remains clueless to the fact that raising the minimum wage will harm more than it will help. Yet, the ignoramuses who continue to support this policy keep bloviating and pandering to anyone who will listen.

If Democrats aren’t the biggest threat to America right now I don’t know what is.

From IJReview:

Maybe you’ve seen the machines that dispense drinks at your favorite 5 Guys, or the iPad that takes your order at Chili’s and Applebee’s, or the machine that takes your order at Panera Bread.

At McDonald’s, they’ve combined a computerized kiosk with a brand new menu, and it appears to be a big hit around the country:

When liberals finally awake from their toddler-like slumber, it will be too late. Their policies do nothing but oppress those they aim to help.

But who are we kidding? The Left doesn’t want to help. They want socialism.

Democrats want every American on the same playing field regardless of education level, hours worked, and so on. As long as a CEO is making x amount, the fast food guy should make the same.

It’s ridiculous, and we’re losing the American Dream because of these simpletons.

Anyone demanding more money while performing the most basic job on the planet needs help. Anyone who supports this act is similarly deranged.

Minimum wage has nothing with kiosks going in. They have been installing self checkouts at grocery stores and they started that when it was $5.15 per hour. Kiosks were going to replace those workers regardless of minimum wage laws.

Once again, I am not a democrat, but some of the stuff you come up with is not supported with data.

The federal minimum wage has been raised 11 times since 1978. The following year, the number of Americans with jobs has actually GROWN 6 times.

While some studies say raising the minimum wage hurts the economy, others suggest raising the MW would stimulate the economy. However, the vast majority of modern studies that have been reviewed suggest raising the MW has little to no effect on the # of jobs. EVERY president since FDR, except 1, has raised the minimum wage at least once. I would not correlate each raise with a down turn in the economy.

The job market / economy is influenced by numerous factors & your simplified argument has not been supported historically.

Flash, I believe liberals ARE deranged! Not to mention Godless, morally depraved, and of perverted, reprobate minds. They are the scourge of this country and a blight to our land.

Good grief...Raising the minimum wage had nothing to do with this. It doesn't eliminate a single employee. There still has to be a person to expedite the food (put it on a tray and make sure the order is correct). All this does is speed up the process to increase profits. Even if it did eliminate an employee, as others have said, it was bound to happen, regardless of a MW increase. John, you show your true, hateful self more each day. Liberals are trying to get you guys to understand a few things. They aren't right about all of their beliefs/talking points, but many of them make a lot of sense. Too bad we have a generation of Americans that refuse to even listen to, much less try and understand another perspective...really sad.

Some of you guys are so easily duped that it's ridiculous. I guess you saw something that appeared to support your unsupported argument and jumped on it. If you would actually ask the other side WHY they think what they think you might start to understand a few things outside of your own narrow views.
