FOOTBALL Raiders All-Access: Blue Raider Football

This is what you get when you grant a perpetuity contract. No sense of urgency. Let’s just try to finish above .500 and take a nice bowl trip.

So……who got motivated to run out and buy season tickets when the ad banner popped up in the videos?

Florida State didn’t hire Mike Norvell on a whim. They hired him away from Memphis to recruit, win football games, The ACC Title and National Championships.

SMH.

Did anyone else notice that much like most of our football coaching staff, the chair Brent Brock is in is worn out? Couldn't we have gotten another chair that isn't worn out for use on camera? Geez....

Maybe he just thinks that chair is comfortable.

It's sad to see that all of these kids think they're going to the league. I appreciate and understand they have lofty goals, but I hope they're preparing for the fact that only 1-2% make it to the "league."

I actually think Quincy Riley has a great chance of making a 53 man roster but it's not just him. Everyone including the 3rd string DB thinks they're going to the NFL (and I'm not joking)

It's because so many players think if you plan for not going to "The League", you're not going to make it because you have to be all in. It's like having a plan B is weakness. I guess they don't take statistics since they won't need it in the NFL.

I love to see people believing in themselves. Heck, look at Kurt Warner or Kevin Greene - great stories.

Sure, the vast majority of players won't play professionally but having the goal might just open doors that would have otherwise been closed.

I'd like to see an NFL and NBA minor league system in place that is similar to the MLB system. And really, kids should have access to trade schools as not everyone wants to sit behind a desk.

I get we don't have the money to have chairs in the video that aren't worn out, but I will personally bring a black Sharpie and color in the worn out edges of those chair arms so they don't look so bad on camera if they just tell me where they store them.

Seriously. We don't even have the money to go buy a chair from Big Lots?

Once you see it, it totally distracts from.ehat they are saying.
Kind of like our video screen in the stadium. I can't focus on the pixelated replays because I can't get over how poor the quality is. I'll be glad when that thing blows a vacuum tube. The local high schools blow us away when it comes to video boards.

Amir said he's a junior ?? Is he getting another year that we don't know about?

These guys (Stock and staff) are just 8 months removed from back to back losing seasons and they yuck it up in these clips like they don’t have a care in the world. (Actually….and contractually they don’t.)

If they had to coach like their job/pay depended on it their attitude would be different. If we had any resemblance of leadership this bunch of losers should have been canned 7 years ago.
