Hit and run...I will find you credible if you show me where the Rs were going to CUT spending for health care for low income kids...I am talking REAL cuts.
You didn't answer my question...you don't know how CHIP works. Its not for poor kids - those kids are on Medicaid. Its for middle class kids - kids that are in families that make more than 50K a year up to a certain amount.
It wasn't a cut, it was about money that wasn't going to be spent. There would be zero impact on the program.
This is a perfect example of a sound bite to the uninformed to use as a battle cry. Congrats, you jumped all in.
You could argue about made up accounting maneuvers, or concern over the future should we hit recession and how this may impact the program if there is a shortfall, but no, you simple believe this is a CUT in spending on healthcare (not for poor kids)
