My hat’s off to these two young men if they’ve successfully sold our staff on their ability to play at this level. Maybe they’ll be able to make the transition to G5 Football. But, I do think it’s a fair question to ask why four other CUSA schools, located 4 hours or less from Houston or his hometown had zero interest in Fluellen? Instead, he goes 12 hours to the northeast to play in Murfreesboro, TN.
Honeysucker “retired” from football in June, 2020. Maybe he had second thoughts?

That was awfully 'generous' of Memphis to allow him to remain on scholarship even if he planned to hang up his cleats. Hmmm. Was there any reason for memphis' largesse?
Memphis is already two-deep in their D-line with several returning starters. Maybe he’ll be able to get some playing time as a Blue Raider. I wish him well.
