BASKETBALL MT falls to 1-3... Oliver has the recap...

I agree on Dishman. I was very skeptical of his ability in looking at his stats on a mediocre EKU squad and he certainly doesn't have much height for an inside player. Glad to be proven wrong.

And on Jackson: He showed so much promise as a freshman. Hope his sophomore slump doesn't last much longer. We need both he and Coleman-Jones to be serviceable at the 5.

The -30 point differential when either Jackson or Coleman-Jones is on the floor is the real eye opener. Would be curious to know Sims point differential as well. May explain why he was missing in the 2nd half.

Both Jackson and Lawrence looked promising last year but neither have shown much this season, so far, and Jayce Johnson has been MIA as well.

Sorry yall, need to start getting in the habit of checking these.

Shocked about Jackson. What is he doing wtong thay keeps him from rebounding?

Before Tyson enrolled at MTSU I watched a couple of his HS games at Hargrave. Rebounding has been an issue since then. The two things naturally going against him are 1. He doesn't have much standstill bounce 2. He does not have good hands, a reason he gets stripped in the paint often. Not sure there is an easy fix for either.

In Jayce's case- he's a great glue guy, leader, teammate, but at his size doesn't really have a true fit position wise that matches his offensive skill set... early on opposing defenses know he can't shoot so they've simply stepped back daring him to shoot and he's not able to blow by taller guys that are giving up that space..
