That stadium. Not all that fancy.

But landscaping can make a world of difference. You could really change and improve the look of ours for not a whole lot of $.

And 57.3%. Say what?!?

If it's not raining, the turnout will be around 22k. Kiffin coming to town will interest some folks and the Blackout games on Saturdays always draw more folks too.

I just got 4 tickets from a friend. First home game I’ve been to in two years. Haven’t seen a win at Floyd in 4.

Going to the game to see Lane.

Kiffin will soften up the safeties and linebackers with Singletary and then catch somebody asleep on a wheel route variation for a wide open shot for a TD.

Book it.

It’s what we do.

The injuries on this team...smh. Now we have moved Brad Anderson back to RB.

Truly is amazing. How the F is Tavares Thomas not ready for this game? We've been resting and sand bagging all season in preparation for conference play and our work horse back isn't even ready? We are not winning this game without Thomas.

Same goes for Jovante Moffit...Where the hell is he? Dude's been out all season. And Blankenship is still out too? COME ON. FAU IS MUST-WIN GAME AND BOTH STARTING SAFETIES ARE OUT?

Dude, we are gonna get SMOKED.

I watched the press conference...its the same talk I have heard at least 50 times. Can they just stop having them...nothing new. No hard questions, or at least when you do you get coach speak.

Actually, there were ZERO questions about the health of all the guys out, known. Where is Thomas, when can he play again? When can Reed or Movitt suit up?

Of course, when the one person asked about Kiffin, Coach Stock looked to get pissed.

Of course he did. He doesn’t like questions about CUSA coaches who are clearly better than him.

excerpt:

...The Florida Atlantic Owls and Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders meet Saturday in college football action at Floyd Stadium.

The Florida Atlantic Owls look for their first road victory of the season to get a game above a .500 record. The Florida Atlantic Owls have split their last eight road games. Chris Robison is completing 64.7 percent of his passes for 923 yards, five touchdowns and five interceptions. Robison enters this game with 119 career pass attempts under his belt. Jovon Durante and Tavaris Harrison have combined for 530 receiving yards and two touchdowns while Willie Wright has 18 receptions. The Florida Atlantic Owls ground game is averaging 220.5 yards per contest, and Devin Singletary leads the way with 341 yards and 10 touchdowns. Defensively, Florida Atlantic is allowing 43.5 points and 481.3 yards per game. Rashad Smith leads the Florida Atlantic Owls with 37 tackles, Azeez Al-Shaair has one sack and Shelton Lewis has two pass deflections.

The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders look to remain unbeaten at home to get back to a .500 record. The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders have won five of their last six home games. Brent Stockstill is completing 68.7 percent of his passes for 723 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions. Stockstill has two or more touchdown passes in five of his last eight. Brad Anderson and Patrick Smith have combined for 384 receiving yards and four touchdowns while CJ Windham has six receptions. The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders ground game is averaging 117 yards per contest, and Terelle West leads the way with 104 yards on 24 carries. Defensively, Middle Tennessee is allowing 40.3 points and 430 yards per game. Darius Harris leads the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders with 20 tackles, DQ Thomas has two sacks and Gregory Grate Jr has one interception.

The Owls are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 conference games, 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games in September and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Blue Raiders are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games, 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games following a ATS loss and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games on turf. The Owls are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 meetings and the favorite is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 meetings.

FAU has played two really good football teams out of the gate and hung around with UCF last week. FAU seems to be getting comfortable on the offensive end, especially Singletary, who currently leads the country with 10 rushing touchdowns. The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders hasn't had any breaks in their schedule either, having to play two road games against SEC teams and having serious issues offensively in both games. We're going to learn a lot from both of these teams at the end of this one. I'm giving FAU the edge here, as I like the progress the Owls offense has made and Singletary torched MTSU last year with 133 rushing yards and four touchdowns. The Florida Atlantic Owls are 8-4 ATS in their last 12 games when favored by at least three points. The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games when an underdog of at least three points. Lane Kiffin should be able to do enough to get FAU back on track.....
