Well they just rolled Western 40-14. So they are a better team then people thought or Western is way worse...probably somewhere in the middle.

You would hope that we would come out ready to roll. You would hope.

I heard they lost their starting QB last week

Well.

We are favored by 17

Should be an easy win.

Benny LeMay is their key. Shut him down and the rest crumbles. If he goes off, then it's a long game for us. However, this new QB is actually better than Reynolds IMO. He can read coverages very well. WKU just let him pick them apart.

Blue Raiders vs. University of North Carolina - Charlotte

excerpt:

...The Blue Raiders enter this one at 3-3 on the season. Middle Tennessee has taken out TN-Martin, FL Atlantic and Marshall this season, but lost to Vanderbilt, Georgia and FIU otherwise.

In the FIU game, Middle Tennessee QB Asher O’Hara put up 114 yards and a pick, and also led the team in rushing with 85 yards and a TD. Ty Lee was the top Raiders receiver on 74 yards from five catches.

Over on the Charlotte Side, they’re sitting at 3-3 this season as well. The 49ers have fallen to Appalachian State, UMass and UAB this year while taking out Fordham, Old Dominion and Western Kentucky.

In the Western Kentucky game, Charlotte QB Chris Reynolds logged 119 yards on 12-of-19 passing, and Ben Lemay led the rush with 121 yards and two scores. Victor Tucker was the top receiver for the Niners on 91 yards from nine receptions.

The 49ers are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games in October and 4-1 ATS in their last five on turf. Charlotte is 1-4 ATS in their last five road games and 6-2 ATS in their last eight conference games.

Meanwhile, the Raiders are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 following an ATS loss. Middle Tennessee is also 4-1 ATS in their last five on turf and 4-0 ATS in their last four following a straight-up loss.

Charlotte has been a model of inconsistency in several of their games this year. The Niners have put up 9 points or fewer in two of their three losses, and coughed up 49 to UMass in the other one.

As for Middle Tennessee, they’ve had a couple of duds as well, posting just seven points in two of their losses, but for the most part have been scoring pretty well otherwise.....

Small stadium, but aesthically pleasing. Looks better than our stadium.

It is a nice stadium. Designed for expansion. My sister graduated there and we went to the game in 2015. Sat up high so we had our backs against the wall. Not a bad seat in the house.

It does look nice. After visiting Marshall, I am completely satisfied with Floyd. There honestly isn't a bad seat in the house and the two tiers make it very open.

Brent in his current physical condition is not able to get us through this one. Have all the respect in the world for him but he has got to come out

won't be surprised if we lose this game. some serious chicken shit play calling

can't overstate how lucky we are to win this game. We were absolutely dominated in every statistical category except turnovers, thank god.

A win is better than a loss.

But why do I feel so hollow after every MT win? We win, but never in a manner that makes you feel like the program is moving forward or has accomplished anything of note.

Love that defense though.

21-13 MT...always great to win Homecoming! This game was about teamwork, resilience, and defense converting Charlotte 49er mistakes into points to give us some breathing room at the end. Good game guys!!

We weren't dominated. WKU was dominated by UNCC. We survived their best punch. They barely scored at the end to make it closer but our D stood up to them time and time again. Brent should not have played. He was not sharp and we were so sloppy on O. BTW FAU was dominated by Marshall at Marshall. We weren't dominated there either. The east is still open.

Doubt it. FIU might not even lose once, much less twice. I see FIU cleaning house except for maybe Marshall.

I agree the east is open. But we were dominated

They had 359 yds, we had 159 yds.
They had 19 FDs, we had 9 and none in the second half
TOP 38mins to 22 mins.
I think we averaged 1.2 yards per carry
Our QB play was the worst I’ve seen in forever
D was good but was beaten deep MULTIPLE times, they just could connect.

Again, very glad we won but we were unwatchable

We were dominated.

The only stat that matters is the scoreboard.

If we were truly dominated, we would have lost. Charlotte had a terrific gameplan and has an awesome D. They are ranked in the top 25 nationally on D with the 6th best rushing D in the nation. What did people expect them to do? We can't run for crap so they locked down on that. They were gonna stand strong on D and we were sloppy on O. I expected a low scoring game. I didn't think we would score 21 on them to be honest. We did what we needed to do... survive.

We did not play well and Brent is still hurt. He should not have played. Asher's run game would have served us well today.

Again, UNCC dominated WKU. They lost to us. Now we gotta go up to ODU. None of these games are easy.
