Kansas State brings its #12 (Coaches Poll) ranked Wildcats to St. Joseph MO. to meet Middle Tennessee in the 2nd annual Bill Snyder Classic. While K-State has lots of momentum the Lady Raiders will face an uphill battle as they continue to work on their struggling offense when playing upper echelon teams.
Defensively Middle Tennessee brings a well rounded unit, but matching K-States offensive output will be a great challenge to the Lady Raiders.

Offensive output is definitely going to be the story in this one. We have to be able to score the ball, defense is not going to win us every game against teams like KSU if we can’t score!

One thing for sure, whether playing football or basketball you got to have a reliable qb to help your team. In basketball your point guard doesn't help the team shooting 1-10 from the field, & bricking layup after layup. I would rather her work to distribute the ball to our best playmakers. Against Belmont Blakely had 2 assists, & against Iowa St, zero assists for the entire game.
It's unfair to put all issues on her back. Plenty of our first 5 have had bad nights offensively this year. But as the team's qb when you're struggling from the field, & can't hit a layup at least try to give an assist to one of your teammates during the game.

This is a game where we will HAVE TO use the bench. If Blakely is bricking everything and has a problem running the offense again, then we need Jada Harrison in the game. That said, getting this win on the road (“neutral” is a stretch) is would be one of the best if not the best win in program history.

Still feel this team is more capable than what it has shown thus far. Sometimes a team could use a little luck early on in building its confidence. A little luck on some early 3's would be nice.

Well, didn’t see us being up by 1 at halftime even after shooting poorly by Nas, Courtney, and TaMia. We’re in great shape. Gotta stop fouling though - they got 11 of their 25 from FT line!

We are in some serious foul trouble. Jada has 4, Elina 3 and Nas 2. Certainly showing some heart but they keep calling it like they are and we are going to be in trouble in the paint. Would still love to see Courtney drive and kick it out more.

Are these announcers the K State crew? Full of excuses for why MT is able to keep it close,

The most frustrating part of this is we have all the pieces to be able to be more competitive in these sorts of games yet the decision making is just not there.

it hasn't changed in 20 years, why do expect different?
