right now, this program is on target to miss it's third straight conference tournament...

Wow, WKU has definitely made a jump. Already more conference wins in 2018 than all of 2017.

In 2017, 15-15 was needed to qualify for conference tournament.

This year, we need to finish 8-4 or 9-3 t get near .500 mark. Basically, need to win each of the remaining series.

I don't see us getting 9 wins against the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place teams in the standings. 5 wins in the last 12 games might even be too much to ask for.
