MT concludes regular season at Florida Atlantic

DNJ:

...A win would guarantee the Blue Raiders of being no worse than eighth
in the conference standings, while a win coupled with losses by Rice and
North Texas could vault the Raiders to as high as the No. 6 spot.

However,
a MTSU loss - coupled with the right outcomes in other games involving
Rice, UNT, Florida International, Texas-San Antonio and Marshall - could
result in a six-way tie for sixth place in the league standings, which
could then result in an 11th-place finish.....

Raiders' seed still wide open entering last game

Richmond didn't play. Not good.

I am pretty happy to finish 6th in the conference after the start we had. We have shown tremendous improvement.

We have a decent shot to make a run in the tourney. We certainly won't be taking anybody for granted like we have in the past.

I would agree that 6th isn't bad for our team (not much difference from 6th to 11th), but I don't see the "tremendous" improvement your talking about. We are all over the map, lost 6 of last 10. We are a rag tag bunch that requires someone to get hot for us to have a chance to beat a good team.

On the plus side, I have no expectations only anticipation for the tourney. For some reason I think we are going to play well and win a few games.
