Something not often said about this game: the women weren't as competitive against ODU as the men were.
Agree. The 20 days off rust was evident. Hopefully today will be different but ODU looked far superior. While this Lady Raider team is good, they aren't great and look lost in the rebounding department. I think the shots will fall but our lack of consistency (even before the Covid mess) is concerning. The offense runs though one person. As great as she is, teams will gladly sacrifice 30+ to one player so that they contain everyone else and win. Having the nations leading scorer is something to be proud of, but we have been here before and it is yet to yield different results in the postseason in terms of the NCAA tourney.

ODU lead 34-27 at halftime after MT cuts lead to seven.

Lady Raiders being out hustled, out muscled, out coached. Looks like MT men more than the MT men...

ODU's got some assistant coaches with tempers. Glad they're leaving - bye bye. Don't chirp at our players. Not a good look by them.

Good team win against a quality team (despite what their record says). We spread the ball around and weren't as one dimensional, hit the boards better and knocked down some shots. Was surprised to see Rellah Boothe announced at senior ceremonies. Although a junior, she will graduate in May. To my knowledge, she is the top rated recruit we ever signed. Last year, she was recovering from a knee issue. This year Covid. She played some solid minutes today - was really unstoppable in the post. Would like to see her back for one healthy, uninterrupted year.
