Why do we have to do this on Friday, if we are not doing Saturday, then what about Thursday?

For myself personally, traveling, I prefer Friday. Last year we were able to get in town a couple hours before kickoff. Relax. Walk around campus a bit. Then have all day Saturday to run around.

This year it’s only a 2 1/2 hr drive but still. Same thing.

We can all agree this is the worst home schedule in 20 years right?

No, I don't think it's the worst we've had. There were some Sun Belt stinkers for many years. I mean having Lane Kiffin with FAU, UAB and WKU at home makes for a good schedule right there. Those 3 will be good games. UT Martin is what it is and the Vandy game might as well be a home game. Charlotte is the only true stinker on the home slate. Having a Friday night game doesn't bother me at all. The Mountain West plays Friday night games all of the time and it doesn't hurt their attendance numbers. Would have liked another home game but it is what it is.
