FB RECRUITING Local cornerback decommits from 2025 class

Maybe his visit didn't go well? Not a good fit character or personality wise?

Looks undersized, which is fine. But when you're that little you better be a stellar athlete, ie. Travis Hunter.

This staff has shown with its recruiting that it definitely values size more than the previous staff. Gonna be hard to find the size that they want though and still maintain the level of athleticism needed to play FBS ball. It's a fine line to walk for sure.

I’m guessing that, I’m interested to see who they get in his place. You don’t tell a commit to move on unless there’s someone replacing him.
They are not in on any other high school corners for 25. They'll add to the position but it would be via juco or portal. Are in on a pair of safeties tho

He's 6'3 with a 6'8 wingspan. he is definitely light if you mean that but I think he would've been a developmental guy either way. They do have a need for guys that contribute the year after next tho so I could see that coming into play for sure

I was talking about how thin he is. He looks extremely underweight to play FBS football. Watch his HUDL and look how thin he is. Maybe 155 pounds dripping wet.

Good height and he can play ball but I don't think coaches look for developmental guys like him much anymore. They want players who could potentially play right away or maybe 1 year away max. It's interesting how quickly the landscape has changed. Nobody wants developmental guys anymore.

Especially in the situation this team is in, yep. True freshman Jackson Lowe is the only outside corner that is on the roster right now that is eligible to be here past 2025 season
