BBJ, the cartoon below explains the difference between the Republican and Democratic debates. In the first two GOP debates, Republicans have offered sound solutions to the issues facing America that would help improve the economy and make our nation stronger and healthier.

Granted, these solutions won’t come without a bit of pain as budget cuts will certainly be necessary and shrinking the size of government means shrinking entitlements, but in the long run such steps will produce wealth and prosperity for all Americans willing to work for it.

While Sen. Ted Cruz and Dr. Ben Carson continue to push for sound conservative principles — such as personal responsibility, hard work, strong military, etc. — which are designed to preserve liberty and put America back on track to being the most powerful and well respected nation on earth, Democrats continue to offer “free stuff” to the masses, many of whom are so uneducated on the basics of economics they actually fall for the socialist tripe these panderers are spewing.

There’s no such thing as a free lunch, people.

When a person gets a “free Obama phone,” it’s not actually free. Those of us who work and pay taxes bought the device.

Promising free stuff to those who refuse to work for what they have will strain and over burden the taxpayer and create more poverty and unemployment, establishing a system that is unsustainable in the long term.

Of course, Democrats know this, but how else can they win votes if they don’t offer the candy?

Unfortunately, people are so oblivious to how things work they just keep eating up all the “free stuff,” despite the fact that it’s rotting their teeth.

The truth is liberals are screwing up our world because they refuse to grow up in theirs. Liberals remain forever children just like the children are taught in Peter Pan.

PETER PAN:
Are you ready for today's lesson?

ALL:
Yes, Peter!

PETER PAN:
Listen to your teacher. Repeat after me:
I won't grow up,
(I won't grow up)
I don't want to go to school.
(I don't want to go to school)
Just to learn to be a parrot,
(Just to learn to be a parrot)
And recite a silly rule.
(And recite a silly rule)
If growing up means
It would be beneath my dignity to climb a tree,
I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up
Not me!
Not I,
Not me!
Not me!
I won't grow up,
(I won't grow up)
I don't want to wear a tie.
(I don't want to wear a tie)
And a serious expression
(And a serious expression)
In the middle of July.
(In the middle of July)
And if it means I must prepare
To shoulder burdens with a worried air,

I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up
Not me,
Not I,
Not me!
So there!
Never gonna be a man,
I won't!
Like to see somebody try
And make me.
Anyone who wants to try
And make me turn into a man,
Catch me if you can.
I won't grow up.
Not a penny will I pinch.
I will never grow a mustache,
Or a fraction of an inch.
'Cause growing up is awfuller
Than all the awful things that ever were.
I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up,
No sir,
Not I,
Not me,
So there!

I won't grow up!
(I won't grow up)
I will never even try
(I will never even try)
I will do what Peter tells me
(I will do what Peter tells me)
And I'll never ask him why
(And I'll never ask him why)

We won't grow up!
(We won't grow up)
We will never grow a day
(We will never grow a day)
And if someone tries to make it
(And if someone tries to make it)
We will simply run away
(We will simply run away)

I won't grow up!
(I won't grow up)
No, I promise that I won't
(No, I promise that I won't)
I will stay a boy forever
(I will stay a boy forever)
And be banished if I don't!
(And be banished if I don't)

And Never Land will always be
The home of beauty and joy
And neverty
I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up
Not me!
Not me!
Not me!
Not me!
No sir!
Not me!

Now contrast this with 1 Corinthians 13:11...

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

It is time for liberals to put away childish things but they won't because they see the world, speak of the world and understand the world as children. If they see something they want, they don't understand why they simply can't have it, especially if lots of other people have it. So they lobby to pass laws that tax other people so they can enjoy subsidized health care, public housing, food stamps, free public education, low interest rates, a guaranteed job with a guaranteed wage whether they work or not.

These forever children hate adults (conservatives) who tell them the truth: that liberal policies won't work and will have unintended consequences, that they can't get something for nothing, or that the world is not as simple and childish as they imagine it to be. Liberals hate adult truth tellers like you and me with the unbounded passion of a child.

These children-who-won't-grow-up see the world not as it is, but as they want it to be, or as they imagine it to be. Liberals don't believe in or understand logic so that is why they reject conservative principles and always vote Democrat. Both Hillary and Bernie know it's hard to beat free-stuff, and that is why they always strive to give away as much stuff as they can. The question is who can promise to give away the most free-stuff?
